A new humanitarian computer game about the Darfur crisis was inspired by Food Force.
DARFUR IS DYING

If Food Force has stirred your interest in the plight of those suffering from humanitarian crises around the world, then you might like to check out a new on-line game, Darfur is Dying.
In the game, you have to survive 7 days as a displaced Darfurian in a Sudanese refugee camp. You have to look for water outside the camp, risking capture by the militiamen who forced you to flee your home. Inside the camp, you have to help grow food and build huts, all the while under threat from medical risks and attacks on the community.
Darfur is Dying offers a faint glimpse of what it’s like for the more than 2.5 million who have been internally displaced by the crisis in Sudan.
